ERIC PRYDZ, BEBE REXHA, AVA MAX, FERG, FRENCH MONTANA, WIZTHEMC MAKE THEIR DEBUT IN ROMANIA AT UNTOLD

The most intense UNTOLD edition to date comes with an impressive lineup. Bebe Rexha, French Montana, Ava Max, and Eric Prydz are just a few of the names making their first appearance in Romania at UNTOLD. The lineup for this year also includes FERG, WizTheMc, Years & Years, Alok, Topic, Zhu, Steve Aoki, Fedde Le Grand, Tujamo, and Thievery Corporation. The summer of 2023, between August 3rd and 6th, in Cluj-Napoca, will be filled with the current hits.

BLETA “BEBE” REXHA is one of the most acclaimed voices in the global music industry. Her collaboration with David Guetta on the mega-hit “I’m Good (Blue)” earned her a Grammy nomination and an MTV EMA award for “Best Collaboration.” Bebe Rexha is one of the premieres prepared by the creators of the UNTOLD experience for the 8th edition of the festival.
Rexha has had successful collaborations with Nicki Minaj, Afrojack, and David Guetta. She worked with G-Eazy on “Me, Myself & I” (1.158 billion views), with Martin Garrix on “In the Name of Love” (1.263 billion streams), and “Meant To Be” (feat. Florida Georgia Line), another production that surpassed 1.244 billion views. Her single “I’m a Mess” earned her two Grammy nominations in the categories of “Best New Artist” and “Best Country Duo/Group Performance.”

AVA MAX is another premiere for Romania. Her single “Sweet but Psycho” was her first major chart success, reaching No. 1 in 22 countries. It debuted directly at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has over 1.43 billion streams on Spotify. Her debut album “Heaven & Hell” made it to the sales charts in the United States and the United Kingdom. In 2023, she released the album “Diamonds & Dancefloors.”

After two successful albums, “Communion” and “Palo Santo,” Olly Alexander returned in 2022 with the solo project YEARS & YEARS and a new album. Titled “Night Call,” the album debuted at No. 1 on the UK Albums Chart. At the 8th edition of the UNTOLD festival, Olly Alexander, the artist with the best-selling debut album in the UK, will perform at Cluj-Arena.

Rapper FRENCH MONTANA is known worldwide for his chart-topping hits and philanthropic efforts. The artist behind the success of “Unforgettable,” with over 1.657 billion streams on Spotify, will make his debut on the UNTOLD mainstage in 2023.

The live performances section is completed by American rapper FERG. With a single included in the list of the top 50 songs of 2012, FERG was named “Rookie of the Year” at the BET Hip Hop Awards. With an impressive career, the American artist presented his latest album “Floor Seats II” with unexpected collaborations with Marilyn Manson, Dennis Rodman, and Mulatto (Latto).

American duo Thievery Corporation, Grammy winners in the category of “Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for a Motion Picture” for the Garden State soundtrack, will make their debut at the festival in Cluj-Napoca.

Canadian rapper WizTheMc is another premiere prepared by the UNTOLD organizers for this year’s edition. He made his debut in 2018, released three albums, eight EPs, and has toured Europe and the United States with artists such as Asap Rocky, Half Alive, Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, Future, Miley Cyrus, and Skip Marley. His single “For A Minute” was a chart success, with over 63 million streams on Spotify.
THE WORLD’S MOST RENOWNED DJS ARE COMING TO UNTOLD THIS SUMMER

ERIC PRYDZ will make his debut in Romania this summer at the UNTOLD festival. In a world where genres, styles, sounds, and trends are constantly evolving, the word “phenomenal” applies to Eric Prydz. He has revolutionized the concept of live shows with a series of creative concepts that integrate new technologies and develop others that are considered out of this world. It all began with EPIC 1.0, a project premiered at Brixton Academy, and has culminated in EPIC 6.0 HOLOSPHERE, a project that has delivered spectacular results for the artist’s fans. He is a sophisticated artist with monumental performances, and every Eric Prydz event is a sold-out affair.

ALOK, one of the artists who has built an impressive career, ranks 4th in DJ Mag’s ranking and has a massive fan community on social media platforms. Alok’s released tracks have over 3.4 billion streams on Spotify.

Electronic music and DJing have been the sole passions of TOPIC. In 2016, he received his first nomination at the MTV Europe Music Awards for “Best German Act.” In 2019, “Breaking Me,” a collaboration with Swedish artist A7S, was a major hit. “Breaking Me” has been an absolute success on Spotify, amassing over 5 billion streams. His remix of “Your Love (9PM)” was nominated for the BRIT Awards in 2022 in the “International Song Of The Year” category.

Topic has collaborated with Bebe Rexha, British electro-pop band Clean Bandit, Becky Hill, and FAST BOY. He made his debut in the official Top 100 DJ Mag ranking last year.

ZHU, one of the coolest artists in electronic music, will make his debut at Cluj-Arena. His single “Faded,” included in the EP “The Nightday,” became a global sensation and reached the top of the dance charts. It was also nominated for a Grammy in the “Best Dance Recording” category.

STEVE AOKI is one of the most intriguing artists in the world. A Grammy-nominated producer, DJ, fashion designer, entrepreneur, NFT visionary, and Guinness World Record holder for the most live performances – 250 shows. He has over 77 million monthly listeners on Spotify, three Platinum Records, six Gold Records, and 10 Top 10 productions on major radio networks. In 2022, Aoki launched A0K1VERSE, an NFT community that offers members real and virtual experiences.

All these names complete the waves of artists announced for the UNTOLD 2023 mainstage: Imagine Dragons, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Alesso, KSHMR, and Salvatore Ganacci.

The Galaxy Stage, the techno realm of UNTOLD, is ready for the most renowned names in the underground culture: Mathame, Amber Broos, Ann Clue, Kasia, Sublee, Charlie, Priku, Sit, Persic, and many others.

The Daydreaming Stage will be a place where the lush, colorful scenery straight out of a fairytale perfectly blends with deep house, ambient, tech, slow house music, as well as live performances from Dubfire, Sebastien Leger (Modular LIVE Show), Acid Pauli, Daydreamers (Marwan, Dub FX & Woodnote), Oliver Koletzki, PAAX (Tulum), Parra For Cuva (LIVE), and many more artists.

The trance style is celebrated at every edition of the UNTOLD festival, and this year the Fortune Stage will host artists such as Markus Schulz, Andrew Rayel, Ben Gold, Ruben de Ronde, John O’Callaghan & Bryan Kearney pres. KEY4050, and many others.

The Alchemy Stage, known for rap, trap, breakbeat, and dubstep, will be the central hub of entertainment for rap enthusiasts. Grasu XXL x Guess Who, Șatra B.E.N.Z, Killa Fonic, Paraziții, Borgore, Deliric & Silent Strike, Puya, Spike, Macanache, Oscar, YNY Sebi, and The Hollygood Gang are among the artists who will take the Alchemy Stage.
