Remarcabilă este absenţa lui Leonardo DiCaprio de pe lista nominălizatilor la categoria cel mai bun actor. Nici Ryan Gosling, lăudat de critică pentru rolul din „Drive”, nu a reuşit să ajungă pe lista celor cinci actori nominalizaţi.
