Massif 2023 – Preparations have begun

Preparations for Massif 2023 have begun. The organizers have revealed the map of the festival.
Yager Chalet, Nuba Chalet, and Kupa Apres-Ski Bar are among the seven stages at the first edition of the festival.

The Massif festival is approaching, and the organizers have started preparing for the newest and most anticipated winter event in Poiana Brasov. The first edition of Massif will take place between March 3 and March 5, 2023, and the team is bringing a special production to Poiana Brasov for the first time. The production and arrangement of the festival will complement the live performances and surprise shows of the artists and DJs on the seven stages, indoor and outdoor, located at the base of the Bradu slope and the most famous apres-ski bars in Romania, loved by extreme and mountain entertainment enthusiasts: Kupa Apres-Ski Bar, Nuba Chalet, and Yager Chalet.

The organizers are expecting 12,000 participants daily, winter sports lovers, music, fun, adventure, and exclusive experiences. Massif is a new and unique festival concept for Central and Eastern Europe.

Fans will be able to meet their favorite artists or DJs on the slopes, have breakfast together in the hotels in Poiana Brasov, or be surprised by their special appearances at one of the apres-ski stages or after-parties.

There will be one main stage and two secondary stages located near the recreation center in Poiana Brasov. For the first edition of Massif, there will be seven stages: three near the recreation center in Poiana Brasov, three in partnership with the apres-ski bars in Poiana, and an after-party stage in the resort, with a special program and surprise guests.

Each stage has different music styles, its own concept, and design. Some artists will combine multiple genres and create unforgettable eclectic mixes. Fans will enjoy unique musical experiences at the first edition of Massif while skiing or snowboarding and choosing their favorite party spot.

The festival’s main stage will be outdoors, near the recreation center in Poiana Brasov. Dimitri Vegas, MATTN, Nicky Romero, Quintino, Kadebostany, Inna, Delia, Grasu XXL, Dirty Nano, B.U.G. Mafia, Pascal Junior, and Killa Fonic are among the artists who will perform on the main stage.

At the base of the slope, the organizers will create an indoor stage, G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time), for those who want to enjoy the greatest hits in music history, new and unique mixes. In addition to the thematic decor, fans will receive special music selections here, recreating the atmosphere of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, and hits from the present. Moreover, this stage will host artists from various musical genres, who will create fusions between hip-hop, trap, pop, rock, electronic music, and authentic folklore. Lupii lui Calancea and Surorile Osoianu, Carmen Chindriș and Taraful Rutenilor, David Ciente, and Romanian DJs are preparing surprises for their first shows at Massif.

Retro Fantesia, the third stage at the base of the Bradu slope, brings fans the finest retro mixes and remixes. Romanian DJs will play the most famous rock, pop, and dance songs of the 90s and 2000s on this stage. Retro Fantesia is a concept created by UNTOLD and is one of the most beloved stages of the festival in Cluj-Napoca, which gathers tens of thousands of fans for four days and nights.

TAKE-OVER OF THE APRES-SKI AREAS IN POIANA BRAȘOV: NUBA BEMASSIF CHALET, YAGER BEMASSIF CHALET AND KUPA BEMASSIF

Three of the most well-known apres-ski areas in Romania will host Massif events. Unique parties will take place every day from noon until midnight at Nuba BeMassif Chalet, Yager BeMassif Chalet, and Kupa BeMassif. Whether they want a break from skiing or snowboarding to recharge with a dose of music, fun, and adrenaline, or come straight from party preparations, fans of these scenes will find the perfect high-altitude parties at the apres-ski areas.

Massif will also have a stage dedicated to afterparties, called K2 Alpin. It will be located in Poiana Brașov, at the former Favorit venue, which will be redesigned. The organizers are preparing a special design and a surprise line-up.

Tickets for the first edition of Massif are available on the bemassif.com website. Prices start at 79 euros plus taxes for General Access and go up to 250 euros plus taxes for VIP. On the festival’s website, fans can also find accommodation in Poiana Brașov for the duration of the event. Over 100 artists, bands, and DJs will perform on the Massif stages between March 3rd and 5th.
