Rednex and No Mercy bring the hits “Cotton Eye Joe” and “Where Do You Go” to the stage at Wonder Family Fest

Artists for all generations: Theo Zeciu, one of the most beloved content creators, comes to meet his fans

August 1-3, Cluj-Napoca: Horia Brenciu, Smiley, Dorian Popa, Iuliana Beregoi, and Zurli at the second edition of Romania’s largest family festival. Rednex and No Mercy are the headliners of the second edition of Wonder Family Fest, Romania’s largest family festival. “Cotton Eye Joe,” the global hit with over 277 million views on YouTube, and “Where Do You Go,” No Mercy’s first single which immediately reached the top 5 in 10 countries worldwide after its release, will be performed live at Wonderland Resort between August 1 and 3, 2025.
Another surprise prepared by the organizers of Wonder Family Fest is the participation of Theo Zeciu, one of the most beloved content creators of the new generation. With nearly 2 million followers on YouTube, winner of the second Buzz House edition, and competitor on Power Couple, Theo Zeciu will take the stage on August 1, the first day of the largest family festival in Romania.

The lineup will also include some of the most appreciated artists in Romania today, including Horia Brenciu, Smiley, Iuliana Beregoi, Dorian Popa, and Gașca Zurli. Geo da Silva and Gyo Gee, The Cuban Project, Carnaval Rio by Wilmark, and even Cătălin Botezatu, who will stage fashion shows with the most appreciated creations of the renowned Romanian designer, will also perform. On May 13, 1996, “Where Do You Go,” a cover version of the song written by Peter Bischof and Frank Farian, was released as the first single by No Mercy and instantly became a worldwide hit, reaching the top 5 most listened songs in 10 countries worldwide: the UK, the United States, Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, and Sweden.

On the other hand, in 2024, a media remake of the song “Cotton Eye Joe” by Rednex inspired a new world record when it reached three billion views across all platforms in just 25 days, eight times faster than the number 1 global song at that time, “Despacito.” This success demonstrated the enduring popularity of the band and sparked a new wave of interest in their music.
