Massif Festival, a success from the very first edition. Over 38,000 participants in the 3-day festival.

The first edition of the Massif Festival brought together over 38,000 music, fun, and mountain lovers during the 3 days of live shows and concerts in Poiana Brasov. Over 100 Romanian and international artists livened up the atmosphere at the 3 stages at the base of the slope and the 3 partner après-ski venues: Nuba BeMassif Chalet, Yager BeMassif Chalet, and Kupa BeMassif. During the 3-day festival, participants enjoyed a diversity of musical genres ranging from electronic music, experimental folk, rap, trap, disco, rock, to pop.

On the last day of the Massif Festival, over 12,000 people had fun. One of the most creative DJs and producers in the world, Danish artist MORTEN, created a fairy tale atmosphere on the main stage. His set included his own productions, remix versions of well-known songs worldwide, as well as hits released with David Guetta as part of the FUTURE RAVE project.

“My first experience was last summer at UNTOLD. It was so good that I came back with great enthusiasm now. There’s something about the people here, they live the joy of music intensely, and that’s extraordinary for every artist,” said the Danish artist.

DJ and producer Topic managed to offer fans at the main stage a perfect festival atmosphere with his DJ set, combining his hits that topped charts worldwide such as “Breaking Me” and “My Heart Goes (LA DI DA)” with his new music projects. Fans of trap had reasons for excitement even on the last day of the Massif Festival, the first major event organized in a mountain resort in Central and Eastern Europe.

Deliric experiments and interacts with fans at every live show, and the same happened at Massif when thousands of people sang along with him.

Another artist eagerly awaited by Massif Festival fans was Oscar, who managed to create a high-energy atmosphere on the main stage. Ian, DJ Dark & Mentol, Bad & Boujee, and Sambo completed the line-up of the main stage.

On the last day of the festival, the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) and Retro Fantesia stages were also the favorite place of disco, pop, and experimental folk lovers. Carmen Chindriș and Taraful Rutenilor managed, through their music, to bring together audiences of different generations but with the same passion for experimental folk. Everyone sang from the first to the last song, and the tent was full. Paul Damixie, Marc Rayen, and Andi Moisescu also managed to offer memorable moments to party-goers in the G.O.A.T tent.

The music of the 80s and 90s, as well as the hits from the 2000s, were the reasons why the Retro Fantesia stage was preferred by fans of the genre.

Fans also had fun at the 3 partner après-ski venues of the festival: Nuba BeMassif Chalet, Yager BeMassif Chalet, and Kupa BeMassif, where foreign and Romanian DJs played music, including The Hollygood Gang, Noel Holler b2b Toby Romeo, and Paul Damixie.
