The organizers of UNTOLD have brought the world’s best DJs and producers to Romania in recent years, delivering memorable performances at Cluj-Arena. Eagerly anticipated every summer by fans from over 100 countries worldwide, UNTOLD has reaffirmed its status, consistently presenting an impressive lineup featuring nine of the top 10 DJs in the world over the four days of the festival.

French DJ David Guetta holds the number 1 spot in the professional DJ ranking and is a favorite among UNTOLD festivalgoers. He has been one of the most active artists of 2023, maintaining an incredible level of quality in his live performances and productions. This year, David Guetta also claimed the top spot in the ranking of the world’s best 100 producers. His journey in recent years has been nothing short of legendary, and this fall, he received further recognition from the Grammy organizers. For next year’s edition, he has two nominations in the Best Pop Dance Recordings category. Guetta headlined the 2023 edition of the UNTOLD festival, and his set was a combination of energy, enthusiasm, and the joy of reconnecting with fans in Romania.

In 2023, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike occupy the second place in the ranking of the world’s best 100 DJs. Their unique live shows have turned them into global stars, and the two brothers were headliners at the UNTOLD festival.

Romania and UNTOLD festival fans are truly special for Martin Garrix, now voted as the world’s No. 3 DJ.

Alok managed to capitalize on a record number of votes. The Brazilian, who delivered an exceptional live show at Cluj-Arena for the third consecutive year, ranks 4th in the world’s top 100 DJ list.

The UNTOLD experience wouldn’t be complete without one of the most beloved DJs who has been here since the first edition in 2015. Armin van Buuren, who has been in the top five DJs in the world for 21 consecutive years, has managed to build a special relationship with UNTOLD festival fans with each live appearance at Cluj-Arena. In 2023, Armin van Buuren retains his trophy in the “Highest Trance” category and ranks 5th in the top 100 most voted DJs in the world.

The Top 100 DJs, the only international ranking dedicated to DJs, presented by the British publication DJ Mag, was revealed at an event in Ibiza. “From a humble beginning in 1993, when the ranking was based on votes from DJ Mag editors, this top has become a landmark in the international dance calendar globally. To celebrate this anniversary, DJ Mag will release a documentary on the history of the electronic scene over the past 30 years. ‘Top 100 DJs: 30 Years of Dance Music’ will offer fans exclusive interviews with DJs who have topped this poll. From David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, the documentary will present the evolution and impact of this ranking on the dance culture,” said Carl Loben, editor of DJ Mag, to UNTOLD.

Over 1.3 million people from 237 countries around the world voted in the DJ Mag publication’s ranking.

The 9th edition of the UNTOLD festival will take place from August 8th to 11th, and the organizers will soon announce the first confirmed names for 2024.
