UNTOLD X, the anniversary edition of one of the biggest festivals in the world, kicked off on Thursday night with over 110,000 fans from more than 100 countries. The first day brought top international artists to the main stage, special shows created for this moment, comebacks from names tied to the festival’s history, and a world premiere presented exclusively at Cluj Arena.

On opening night, the main stage became the place where music, spectacular productions, and the fans’ energy marked the start of the anniversary edition.

DON DIABLO – WORLD PREMIERE AT UNTOLD X
One of the most spectacular moments came from Don Diablo. The Dutch artist chose UNTOLD X to present, exclusively, his brand-new show concept created for his 2026 global tour. For this night, the main stage setup was specially customized: the DJ desk was placed on the catwalk, closer to the fans, and the entire performance featured unreleased tracks, tailored visuals, and direct interaction with the audience.
“Romania, I love you. UNTOLD, thank you!” Don Diablo said in Romanian at the end of his show, a moment met with applause and high energy from the entire Cluj Arena.

RAG’N’BONE MAN DELIVERS A POWERFUL LIVE SHOW ON THE MAIN STAGE
Making his debut at Cluj Arena, Rag’n’Bone Man offered one of the most powerful live moments of UNTOLD X’s first day. Backed by his band, the British artist gave the audience a show built on authenticity, with hits like Human, Skin, and Giant, all performed with a raw energy that went straight from the stage to the hearts of the fans. His unmistakable voice and genuine stage presence held the crowd’s attention from start to finish.

TUJAMO – EMOTIONAL TRIBUTE TO AVICII AND A SURPRISE MESSAGE FOR FANS
Tujamo, part of the UNTOLD story since its first edition, returned to the main stage with a set designed especially for the anniversary. His performance started with beats that instantly raised tens of thousands of hands in the air and kept building in intensity with crowd favorites and high-energy drops.
One of the most emotional moments was the tribute to Avicii, headliner of UNTOLD’s first edition in 2015. Images of the late Swedish artist lit up the screens while fans applauded in a heartfelt homage to one of the most beloved electronic music producers.
After the tribute, Tujamo reignited the energy with a playful surprise – the word “CLUJAMO” displayed on the main stage, a witty nod to his Romanian fans, who reacted instantly. At the end, he told the crowd he would return to UNTOLD anytime, without negotiation – proof that his bond with the festival goes beyond music.

TIËSTO – EXTENDED SET UNITING GENERATIONS OF FANS
For his second appearance at UNTOLD, Tiësto delivered an extended set crafted especially for this anniversary edition. From electronic music classics like Traffic, Silence, and Love Comes Again, to the latest global hits, he offered fans a powerful blend of nostalgia and fresh energy, supported by a stunning visual show.

The night also brought emotional performances from two of Romania’s most beloved artists: Minelli and Rareș. Minelli opened the live acts with a special set for fans, while Rareș followed with his hit Cel mai fericit, sung along by tens of thousands. Both shared the same sentiment – UNTOLD feels like home.

From Sam Garrett’s heartfelt messages on both the main stage and the intimate Soul Circle stage, to Topic’s vibrant set, day one of UNTOLD X delivered unforgettable shows. The main stage experience was rounded out by the Partydul Kiss FM crew.

Across other stages – Galaxy, Alchemy, Daydreaming, Fortune, Time, Tram, and Retro – tens of thousands of fans enjoyed diverse musical styles. The Alchemy stage, dedicated to rap, trap, breakbeat, and dubstep, hosted acts like Ian, Yny Sebi, Oscar, Wilkinson, Petre Ștefan, Marco Glass & BVCOVIA. The Galaxy stage celebrated underground techno with performances from Black Coffee with Nusha, Arapu b2b Priku, and Marwan Dua.

TONIGHT’S HIGHLIGHTS AND A SYMBOLIC START FOR UNTOLD 2026
This evening, the main stage will feature one of the most anticipated live shows of the year, as Post Malone kicks off his European “The Big Ass Tour” at Cluj Arena. Also on the lineup: Armin van Buuren, Delia, Bad & Boujee, and Altar. A surprise moment from the organizers will mark the symbolic start of the road to UNTOLD 2026.

Organizers announced that ticket sales for UNTOLD 2026 will start on Saturday, August 9, at 6:30 PM. Gates to the festival open daily at 4:00 PM.
