Winter beauty products & tricks
I think many of you face serious problems with dry skin especially in winter. Regarding the problems of my skin, which is indeed extremely capricious, I have told you already in many posts, as well as the products I use. Of course I prefer everything that is natural and here I refer to oil-based creams, without perfume or preservatives. However, in time, I have discovered products that I use with pleasure, such as products from Bioderma wich fit very well with my skin type. I think I didn’t I tell you what skin type I have. Yes, it is a mixed skin type with a dry tendency during the winter season.
Among the products that I regularly use in my daily ritual is the micellar water from Bioderma and the Tea Tree Oil from The Body Shop. I have fallen in love with these two products and I always have them with me in my personal kit even when traveling.
In addition I absolutely recommend the application of moisturizing masks as well as cleaning masks. I apply them both weekly, I admit, when I travel I happen to skip over but I recover this when I am back home.
Hydration Tip: I recommend chamomile tea infusions in the evening. It cleanses and soothes the skin after cleansing and moisturizes it especially if you have had a tiring day. You just need to make an infusion of chamomile tea and leave it at room temperature. Lightly apply with a makeup remover pad or a towel.
I discovered a series of moisturizing masks, which I will give as a gift to one of you, on one of my trips to Germany. Some of them are clay based and are for cleaning.
Skin cleansing type: You can opt for a mask based on clay and collagen powder. I choose to mix the clay directly with collagen powder and water, then apply it on the skin and leave it for about 20 minutes. Easily to be removed with warm water.
Collagen powder that I regularly use can also be consumed as such, mixed with water. Collagen is known to work best from the inside to the outside, so if you want visible effects, but no sooner than two months, I suggest you drop other products. In addition to aging, the body stops producing collagen and continues to “eat” from its reserves. So in this case a collagen cream will not help us much if we have problems with the joints. Neither will help the skin for being wrinkle free, that I can assure you.
Expanded pores: here the problem is quite complex. You can regularly use masks, or call for cosmetic services. The quick option that helps is the Benefit primer. I always have my pocket or travel size and I could say that he is my savior. Given that I traveled a lot, my skin did suffered a bit. The Benefit primer helps me a lot in this regard and is an optimal solution for any skin type.
For the contour of the eyes: I discovered the Dermatologica range. I recently ordered the product from strawberry.com and I really like it. I can say that it hydrates the skin around eyes very well, but I do not apply the cream every day and alternate with a day in which I apply a simple almond oil for hydration.
I could tell a lot about the Tea Tree Oil from The Body Shop because it is absolutely extraordinary. I limit myself to telling you that I applied it to problem areas, for example on slightly irritated skin or even on a small pimple, and in the morning it was simply gone. I admit, it is extremely rare for me to have pimples but I found the perfect solution for it. Moreover, considering that about a month ago I attended Tekom, one of the most important events in the field of communication, which takes place in Stuttgart every year, I was left not only with swollen feet but also with small callus although I wore the most comfortable shoes. Well, and in this case this wonder, Tea Tree Oil from The Body Shop solved the problem absolutely admirably.
PS: I always talk only about the products I used, so no hidden ads here girls!
