Electric Castle 2025 Ends – Countdown to 2026 Begins

The 11th Edition of Electric Castle Wraps Up After 5 Unforgettable Days

Electric Castle’s 11th edition has come to an end after five memorable days that transformed Banffy Castle into a haven of great music and fun. With 289,000 attendees from 15 countries, this year’s edition marks a major milestone in the festival’s history—not only setting a new attendance record but also offering more experiences than ever before.

The final night of Electric Castle pushed the crowd’s dance stamina to the limit. After traditional Romanian dances with the Taraphonics lăutari and a wild mosh pit with Dirty Shirts, Shaggy kept the party going with 90 minutes of nonstop dance. The superstar made sure no one left the main stage standing still—and he succeeded. The bravest festival-goers were still dancing at 8:00 a.m. this morning. For them, the organizers, and all EC fans, the countdown to Electric Castle 2026 begins now.

Behind this year’s edition stood a team of 2,000 people who worked across different phases to make the event happen. Several hundred will remain on-site to fully restore the Banffy domain to its original state—including replanting grass over a 15-hectare area. Others will return in the fall to continue the tree-planting campaign in the camping area so that next year’s edition will welcome festival-goers with even more green space.

As the castle returns to silence, one thing is certain: EC25 may be over, but its echo lives on—in playlists, in friendships, and in the thousands of photos that are only now being shared.

Limited early bird tickets for Electric Castle 2026 are already on sale. A 5-day pass starts at just €109.
