Luis Fonsi at Wonder Family Fest: “I Want to Return Next Year with My Family”
Romania’s largest family festival opened its doors on Friday in Cluj.
Luis Fonsi, the headliner of the inaugural Wonder Family Fest—the country’s largest family festival—arrived in Romania on Thursday, August 1. He visited Wonderland Resort, the festival’s venue, and was particularly impressed by Dino Land, the park featuring giant animatronic dinosaurs. At a press conference on Friday, Fonsi, who is visiting Cluj for the first time, expressed his desire to return next year with his entire family:
Luis Fonsi: “Cluj is very beautiful. I love the music, the people, the culture. Thank you so much for the warm welcome. I’m honored to be a part of this festival. I want to come back next year, and next time I’ll definitely bring my whole family.”
This year, Luis Fonsi is celebrating 25 years in music with an international tour, “25 Años Tour,” and a new album, “El Viaje.” He will perform in numerous cities worldwide, including Cluj, on the main stage of Wonder Family Fest. He will take the stage on the festival’s opening night at 10:30 PM and already gave a preview of his performance by humming his hit song “Despacito.”
Luis Fonsi: “We will have familiar songs as well as new ones. I have a wonderful team handling sound, dance, and lighting. I’m excited and can’t wait for the people here to experience my music. We’re definitely in for an extraordinary show.”
Wonder Family Fest runs from August 2-4. The event is set in a magical location, spanning over 357,000 square meters in the Feleacu commune near Cluj-Napoca, at Wonderland Resort. Hundreds of fun activities organized in themed areas await children and their families, alongside an impressive lineup, four stages, enchanting relaxation zones, a beach pool, parent conferences, and many food and drink areas. Major attractions include Luis Fonsi’s concert, the opening of the world’s tallest Adrenaline Tower and the first in Romania, Dino Land, Zurli Land, and the inauguration of a massive outdoor pool, Wonder Pool.

Our festival kicks off with the opening of the impressive Adventure Land, featuring Adrenaline Tower, the world’s tallest tower of its kind and the first in Romania, alongside thrilling attractions such as a 600-meter zip line and gravity bobsleds. Little explorers can discover wonders in Dino Land, with over 40 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, and Kids Land offers creative workshops and magical performances on the Kids Stage. In Joy Land, there’s a Ferris wheel and a carousel with horses, while in Jumping Land, kids can enjoy more than 20 inflatable houses and slides. Nature lovers can enjoy horseback rides in Horse Land, and Latino Land, with special guest Wilmark, brings vibrant dance and music. Sports Land features activities for the whole family, including fitness sessions, cheerleading, and yoga for kids.”
The festival opens daily at 10:00 AM, and after 11:00 PM, the fun continues indoors with DJ parties in the Grande Vista event hall. On Friday and Sunday, starting at 6:00 PM, concerts on the main stage will be preceded by an impressive parade inspired by Rio’s carnival, featuring many characters and colors. Organized by the renowned Wilmark, the parade will start at Latino Stage, move to Kids Stage and Zurli Land, and end at the main stage. The festival will conclude with a spectacular fireworks show on Sunday at 10:30 PM.

Tickets and Access:
One-day tickets for Wonder Family Fest are still available online at https://bilete.wonderland.ro/wonderfamilyfest. Children up to 2 years old get free entry. Access to the event can be by car, taxi, or bus. Special shuttle buses will operate between Cluj-Napoca and Wonderland (round trip) from 10:25 AM to 12:30 AM during the event. Access to the buses requires a festival wristband, but tickets can also be purchased at Check-in points at Wonderland. The full bus schedule can be found here.
Most areas inaugurated for Wonder Family Fest, such as Adrenaline Tower and Wonder Pool, will remain open after the festival. Additionally, funds loaded onto festival wristbands can be used at Wonderland Resort.
