Over 95,000 fans enjoyed the magic of the festival

Over 95,000 fans from all over the world, the most renowned artists, top DJs, fantastic characters from a magical world, international acrobats, animators, and dancers celebrated together the first day of the UNTOLD festival. Thursday night was truly magical for both fans and artists who graced the eight stages of the UNTOLD festival.

One of the most anticipated moments on the mainstage was the live show of the artist from the United States, Bebe Rexha, one of the premieres offered by the creators of UNTOLD to the festival fans. Nominated three times for Grammy Awards, appreciated for her powerful voice and originality in music, Bebe Rexha thanked the fans for the warm welcome she received at Cluj-Arena. “I’m so far away from my home, but to be here now is a joy. I love you, and I’m so happy to be together!”

With a live show that included her most famous songs, such as “I Got You,” “Say My Name,” “Meant To Be,” and “In The Name Of Love,” as well as productions from her latest album titled “BeBe,” the American artist presented an exclusive new song for UNTOLD festival fans. “One In A Million” is the latest collaboration between Bebe Rexha and David Guetta, the headliner of the 8th edition of the UNTOLD festival. The song was officially released today, August 4. Bebe had an incredible interaction with the fans and issued them a challenge: a twerk contest. She chose two fans from the audience and invited them on the mainstage to dance together to the hit “Hey Mama.” Everyone present at Cluj-Arena cheered for their favorites. The fans’ euphoria was overwhelming, and the applause resounded loudly, accompanied by shouts of joy, and the dance contest ended with Alex from Timișoara emerging as the winner.

The official opening ceremony offered the fans a special show by the DJ ranked 4th in the Top 100 DJ Mag, Alok. “The DJs are the last attraction of the UNTOLD festival; the biggest attraction is the fans,” declared the Brazilian. With an energetic live set, Alok took the festival fun to another level.

Throughout the first day, all eight stages vibrated with energy and joy, with each artist contributing to the magic of the festival. “UNTOLD makes the world spin, feel, and attracts you like a magnet. If I didn’t come to UNTOLD for a year, it would break my heart!” said Steve Aoki, the creator of “Cake Me!” to the fans.

The American DJ and producer made an extraordinary surprise for UNTOLD fans by including a Romanian song, “Andrii Popa,” in his live set. It was a moment of total joy! The DJ ranked 7th in the Top 100 DJ Mag threw cakes, but also premiered a production at UNTOLD, “Won’t Forget This Time,” a collaboration with John Martin and KAAZE.

Topic performed at Cluj-Arena for the first time and declared himself in love with the UNTOLD festival. The German DJ was amazed to see the enthusiasm of the fans as the festival gates opened. “It’s the first time in my career that I’ve seen so much passion and joy. People run towards the mainstage; the audience in Romania is unique, and what’s happening here is unique!”

The first day of the UNTOLD festival ended at Cluj-Arena with KSHMR. The UNTOLD experience was complemented on the mainstage by Partydul Kiss FM and Irina Rimes.

The artists from Galaxy, Alchemy, Daydreaming, Fortune, Time, Tram, and Retro attracted tens of thousands of fans on the first day of UNTOLD. The Alchemy stage was specially created for fans of rap, trap, breakbeat, or dubstep genres. Borgore, Spike, Grasu XXL x Guess Who, Specii, DOC, YNY Seba, Petre Ștefan, and Berechet activated one of the most beloved scenes in the festival.

UNTOLD offers diversity in musical styles at each edition, and the underground techno culture has its stage at the festival. On the first day of the UNTOLD experience, the Galaxy stage hosted Boris Brejcha, Amelie Lens, Amber Broos, Ann Clue, Kasia, Sara Bluma, and Nusha.

Tonight, the UNTOLD mainstage will offer the most anticipated live show of this year’s edition with Imagine Dragons. The American artist Justin Jesso, followed by Delia, Olly Murs, Salvatore Ganacci, Alesso, and the German Tujamo, are the names that will excite the fans at Cluj-Arena.
