High-Energy Day at Electric Castle: Teddy Swims and twenty one pilots Arrive in Bonțida
“Lose Control” or “Ride”? Friday is all about chart-topping hits on the Electric Castle Main Stage, with Teddy Swims and twenty one pilots, recently named Favorite Rock/Alternative Band at the 2026 American Music Awards, taking center stage.
The second day of Electric Castle 2026 brings maximum intensity to the festival—both literally and figuratively. More than 22 tons of production equipment are required for the day’s two headline performances: Teddy Swims’ first-ever concert in Romania and the highly anticipated return of twenty one pilots to Bonțida.
Both artists are bringing large-scale productions and promise unforgettable performances for what is expected to be a record-breaking crowd at Bánffy Castle.
Electronic music fans will also face tough choices throughout the evening. Festivalgoers will have to decide between the infectious tech-house grooves of Brazilian sensation Mochakk and the heavy bass sounds of Subtronics, with thousands of dance steps separating the two performances.
The Electric Castle community has already embraced the festival’s newest experiences. Beginner skateboarding lessons quickly sold out, as did reservations for Cocktail in the Sky, a unique attraction that lets visitors enjoy a drink while suspended 50 meters above the ground.
Another new addition this year is the Wellbeing Forest, a dedicated space designed for relaxation, mindfulness, and reconnecting with nature. Together with more than 60 activities available throughout the festival grounds, these experiences helped shape the first day for 42,000 attendees.
With the EC Village campsite fully sold out, organizers encourage festivalgoers attending the remaining three days to use the dedicated train and shuttle bus services to Bonțida in order to avoid heavy traffic.
