OVER 120,000 ATTENDEES ON THE FIRST DAY OF UNTOLD

UNTOLD STAR – THE THEME OF THE 2027 EDITION

The eleventh edition of UNTOLD got off to a spectacular start, delivering a day filled with pure emotion and unforgettable performances. More than 120,000 attendees from Romania and around the world were present on the first day of UNTOLD, one of the world’s Top 3 festivals, transforming Cluj-Napoca into the global capital of music.

The festival’s nine stages delivered a spectacular lineup, bringing together music legends, EDM superstars, iconic techno artists, and some of the most acclaimed names in Romania’s urban music scene. Mainstage, Galaxy, and Alchemy hosted special shows and spectacular sets, marking the beginning of four days and four nights of festival magic.

The first day kicked off with the energy of OLIX & ANER from KISS FM, followed by a performance from Alexandra Căpitănescu and a set by DJ Bliss.

Sadhguru, Smiley and Loredana Join a Special Dialogue at UNTOLD

On the first day of the festival, Sadhguru, Smiley, and Loredana came together for a special press conference attended by approximately 200 people.

The conversation focused on themes such as balance, connection, responsibility, and the power of music to bring people together.

Sadhguru’s presence at UNTOLD continued on the Mainstage during Smiley’s performance, where he delivered a message to the festival audience for approximately 10 minutes.

Sting Delivers a Legendary Performance

One of the most anticipated moments of the first day was the performance by legendary artist STING, a musician loved by generations who brought some of his most iconic hits to the UNTOLD stage.

Following the performance, Sting and his team expressed their excitement about the festival and the incredible audience.

The evening continued with Cancelled Music, the project created by Kris Fade & Dean Curtis, followed by a set from one of today’s most acclaimed DJs, James Hype, who performed at UNTOLD for the first time.

The artist was visibly impressed by the huge crowd dancing alongside him.

American superduo The Chainsmokers then transformed the Mainstage into an extraordinary spectacle, performing in front of tens of thousands of fans who sang along to their biggest hits.

Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers broke down in tears, overwhelmed by the emotion of the moment. After the concert, the duo said they had very much wanted to return to UNTOLD and had asked their team to make it happen. The emotion of reconnecting with the festival audience made their return particularly special.

Guess Who Takes the UNTOLD Mainstage for the First Time

For the first time on the UNTOLD Mainstage, Guess Who delivered a special show, presented by IQOS, performing some of his most well-known songs to tens of thousands of festivalgoers.

Carl Cox Leads an Epic Night at Galaxy

The Galaxy Stage brought together Persic B2B Paul Svenson, RBØR, Priku, and Cezar for a night dedicated to house and techno music.

The stage’s headliner was legendary DJ Carl Cox, one of the most influential artists in the history of electronic music.

The British icon returned to UNTOLD and delivered another memorable set for fans, creating an electric atmosphere that continued until sunrise.

Alchemy Brings Together Hip-Hop, Trap and Bass Music

The Alchemy Stage presented a powerful combination of hip-hop, trap, and bass music, featuring artists who represent the new generation of the Romanian and international music scene.

The lineup included Alexandra Căpitănescu, Marko Glass ft. Bvcovia, Albert NBN, IAN, American producer and artist Gramatik, and British duo Sigma.

FIRST UNTOLD 2027 – STAR EDITION TICKETS GO ON SALE SATURDAY, AUGUST 8 AT 9:30 PM

UNTOLD fans will have the opportunity to purchase the first tickets for UNTOLD 2027 – STAR EDITION on Saturday, August 8, at 9:30 PM.

The first tickets will start at €75 plus applicable fees, compared with the final ticket price of €249 plus fees.

The tickets will be available in limited quantities and can be purchased through tickets.untold.com or via the UNTOLD app.

ONE BILLION FOR GOOD – A Global Movement Initiated by UNTOLD

As part of this year’s edition, UNTOLD launched ONE BILLION FOR GOOD, an initiative designed to collect, amplify, and celebrate acts of kindness, regardless of their size.

The campaign highlights projects and causes capable of creating a real impact within communities. At the same time, ONE BILLION FOR GOOD encourages people to turn good intentions into action, share positive messages, and inspire those around them to contribute.

Initiated by UNTOLD, the campaign is built around the belief that every gesture matters and that millions of individual acts can come together to create a global movement for good.
