OVER 185,000 FANS CELEBRATE FIRST UNTOLD DUBAI EDITION
Over the course of four days and nights, more than 185,000 fans from around the world celebrated the inaugural edition of UNTOLD Dubai, marking an unprecedented success in the United Arab Emirates.
Music enthusiasts were enthralled by the performances of global superstars: TÏESTO, HARDWELL, ARMIN VAN BUUREN, PSY, G-EAZY, ELLIE GOULDING, SEBASTIAN INGROSSO, TIMMY TRUMPET, and many others.
In this way, UNTOLD, a Romanian-born brand from Cluj-Napoca, fulfills its promise to be Dubai’s strategic partner in entertainment and position it on the international map of festival destinations.
On the fourth day of the UNTOLD festival, over 45,000 fans gathered at the renowned EXPO City Dubai venue. The main stage hosted a legendary show by K-pop sensation, PSY. Initially a satirical hip-hop artist in South Korea, PSY became a global phenomenon in 2012 with the release of “Gangnam Style,” whose iconic music video became the first to surpass one billion views on YouTube. With a career spanning over two decades, PSY continued to captivate audiences with his unique style.
The South Korean’s live show generated tremendous excitement at the main stage of UNTOLD Dubai. “I see that most of you have smartphones, and I see that many of you are using them to film. This show that I’ve prepared should remain a beautiful memory, and memories should stay in your mind. Each of you is invited to put your phone down, experience this moment with your soul and heart open, and create memories.” These were the words of the K-pop legend at the debut of the main stage show.
A total show, full of energy, with dancers, video projections, and an impressive fireworks display; these were the arguments with which PSY conquered his fans at the debut edition of Dubai’s first mega music festival, UNTOLD.
The last evening of the UNTOLD Dubai festival was dedicated to the biggest names in the electronic music industry. One of the world’s greatest DJs, part of the Swedish House Mafia project, Swedish artist Sebastian Ingrosso, amazed his fans with an incredible DJ set, including his latest collaboration, “Skip,” a track he worked on with Steve Angello, set to be officially released on February 23.
Australian DJ Timmy Trumpet, ranked 6th in the Top 100 DJ Mag, brought energy from the first beat to the last. Especially for the fans of UNTOLD Dubai, he presented two world premiere tracks during the live show at the festival’s main stage.
INNA, one of Romania’s most renowned artists with tremendous international success, delivered a live performance where everyone at the main stage sang and danced along with the artist who set a record for views on YouTube.
Each of the four days of the UNTOLD festival was extraordinary for the fans who enjoyed every artist who graced the main stage. It was an impressive debut for the first edition of Dubai’s largest music festival, UNTOLD Dubai.
UNTOLD, a globally recognized festival for its stunning shows and impressive visual productions, had a spectacular debut and became an international hub of entertainment. The UNTOLD Dubai main stage, dedicated to global superstars, offered a mix of styles and musical genres.
Armin van Buuren, ranked 5th in the Top 100 DJ Mag, was one of the most anticipated headliners on the first day of the festival, alongside British pop sensation Ellie Goulding.
The four days of the festival were like a journey into a universe where the only things that mattered were the connection between people, the music, and the emotion. Tiesto’s live set was one of the most anticipated moments of the first edition of the UNTOLD Dubai festival. The Dutch DJ thanked the fans who came to EXPO City Dubai. Tiesto was thrilled by the audience’s reaction as they awaited him at the main stage.
One of the world’s greatest DJs, Hardwell, took the fun to another level with an exclusive, high-energy show. A true wizard of big room house sound, Hardwell included a premiere track in his set, a production collaboration with Armin van Buuren.
Every moment at the UNTOLD Dubai main stage was an opportunity to create unique moments and experience the magic of music. One of the artists who generated euphoria at the debut edition of the UNTOLD Dubai festival was Badshah. Awarded a trophy at the Punjabi Music Awards for best duo/group and most listened song of the year, the artist of Indian origin was extremely happy for what he experienced alongside his fans.
Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire, also known as Major Lazer, were another extraordinary surprise offered by the creators of UNTOLD to the festival fans. Included by Billboard in the ranking of the best artists in the dance music spectrum, the Americans took the notion of a live show to another level, with the audience being part of the live experience of the three artists.
Jillionaire interacted constantly with the fans throughout the show, and they prepared an exclusive moment for the UNTOLD Dubai festival fans. Their latest collaboration with Don Diablo, a track premiered worldwide at the main stage of Dubai’s first mega music festival.
Another artist eagerly awaited by fans on the main stage was American G-Eazy, while the master of future house style, Dutchman Don Diablo, offered a DJ set specially prepared for the first edition of UNTOLD Dubai.
With incredible passion for electronic music, and due to the ability to connect with the audience, DJ BLISS, one of the most appreciated DJs in the United Arab Emirates, captured the festival audience with a captivating mix.
The UNTOLD Dubai festival main stage was the place of entertainment and joy. Kris Fade, one of the most esteemed media personalities in the Middle East, prepared a special back-to-back session for UNTOLD fans, alongside Dean Curtis.
