Champions’ Day at Electric Castle 2026: The Cure on the Main Stage and the World Cup Final at Midnight
The final day of Electric Castle 2026 is packed with excitement for both rock fans and football lovers. With The Cure and Dogstar performing on the festival’s Main Stage and the FIFA World Cup Final broadcast live at midnight, Sunday’s program promises an unforgettable finale. Tickets for Electric Castle 2027 are already on sale at a special early-bird price on www.electriccastle.ro.
The countdown to the festival’s fourth day began early with a morning fun run through the campsite, giving participants a chance to relive the memories created on Saturday night. Nothing But Thieves and LP delivered emotional, standout performances that quickly became highlights of the weekend.
“We love being here and wish we could come back even more often than we already have. You have absolutely incredible energy!” said Conor Mason, lead singer of Nothing But Thieves, after a show that featured plenty of new material performed for the first time at Electric Castle.
That same energy could be felt across every stage, where festivalgoers danced until sunrise to the legendary Deep Dish, enjoyed the house grooves of Jax Jones, and discovered the sounds of La Sécurité. In total, 63,000 people attended the third day of the festival at Bánffy Castle.
Sunday calls for a special festival outfit. Dramatic eye makeup, teased hair, and the jersey of either Spain or Argentina are the perfect combination for a day that moves between two major events: a two-hour performance by The Cure on the Main Stage and the live screening of the FIFA World Cup Final on the Hangar Stage giant screen.
Festivalgoers are also making sure to keep some free storage on their phones for Keanu Reeves, who takes the stage in Bonțida with his band Dogstar.
Among Sunday’s must-see performances are Just Mustard and YĪN YĪN, both worth adding to the festival schedule and personal playlists.
As the saying goes, it’s never too early to plan the next adventure. Electric Castle organizers have already launched the first 2027 festival passes, available at a special price starting from €139, with installment payment options, at www.electriccastle.ro
