Pop, Rock, and Electro Legends on Day 2 of Electric Castle

“Did you arrange this rain just for me? Rain or shine, let’s have fun!”
Superstar Justin Timberlake’s first-ever performance in Romania drew a crowd of 72,000 people on Day 2 of Electric Castle 2025.

Delayed due to weather conditions that could have affected the artist’s safety, Timberlake’s concert managed to turn the heavy rain into just part of the atmosphere. Tens of thousands danced to hits like Cry Me a River and Rock Your Body.
“It’s my first time in Romania, and I don’t know why it took me so long to get here. Thank you!” said the American superstar, who will leave Romania today to continue his international tour.

On Friday, dozens more artists will perform across Electric Castle’s stages, including the legendary rock band Queens of The Stone Age. Their new album, In Times New Roman…, which they’ll perform on the festival’s main stage, marks a return to stoner rock, the subgenre that helped make QOTSA one of the most influential bands of the past decades.

Guitar riffs will dominate the soundtrack of the day at Electric Castle, with performances from:

Leprous, one of the most acclaimed progressive metal bands
The Amazons, a critically praised blend of alternative and indie rock
Moldova’s own Zdob și Zdub, keeping the rock energy alive

A special back-to-back performance from Netsky b2b NGHTMRE — a Drum’n’Bass titan teaming up with one of the most innovative electronic producers — promises a high-energy, controlled chaos set that thousands of fans won’t want to miss.

At midnight, Jayda G, the Grammy-nominated Canadian artist, turns house music into therapy, closing the night with rhythm and soul.

Electric Castle 2025 is more than a music festival — it’s a full day-and-night experience packed with activities. Those looking to test their intuition are invited to the castle for a game of “Traitors,” where deceivers hide in plain sight among friends.

In EC Village, stand-up comedy sessions continue with the Comedy Box crew — Maria Popovici, Frînculescu, Mirică, Ioana Luiza, and more — alongside wellness activities organized by FundaMental.
